I had neighbors like this in many of our meanderings... prickly, misshapened, hard to get to know... God always used them to teach me something...
You don't learn much when you're comfortable, that's for sure. I think when you come across the same kind of person again and again that's God saying, "You haven't quite learned the lesson yet...".
